The Department of Decision Sciences at Drexel University invites applications and nominations for a tenure track faculty position at the assistant professor level in the field of Operations Management and/or Business Analytics for the 2013-2014 academic year with a starting date as early as September 1, 2013.

Successful applicants must have completed a Ph.D. in business, industrial engineering, or a related area by their starting date. The Decision Sciences Department is responsible for the areas of Statistics, Operations Management, and Operations Research. Candidates must demonstrate evidence of (or potential for) publication in top tier journals, as well as teaching excellence at the undergraduate, masters, and Ph.D. levels required. Preference will be given to candidates interested in Data Mining and/or Business Analytics.

As a full-time faculty member, the requirements for this position include teaching at least 3 out of 4 quarters per year. Health Meeting

I am looking for some poster and lecture presenters for the NEHA conference next summer in DC.

Environmental Health includes things like: emergency response/preparedness; land use planning for healthy communities; air quality; healthy homes & schools; drinking water and wastewater treatment; food safety; vector-borne disease such as avian flu & West Nile Virus; environmental sustainability as a health impact,etc.

Writing Compelling Cover Letters

Practice Makes Perfect: Group Mock Interviews

In this group mock interview session, students will have a unique chance to practice and sharpen their interview skills. We will briefly review interviewing wisdom, discuss the art of giving and receiving feedback, then all participants will have a chance to answer questions and get feedback on their responses.
