Introduction
What is the current state of Remote Laboratories and what is the most effective path forward to reach the goal of widely accessible, scalable, and pedagogically effective? We propose to convene a international symposium of developers (producers), users (consumer), researchers, and evaluators to examine the current state of the art of remote laboratories.
Symposium Development
A structured process to identify the most effective structure for the symposium can help us develop a strong, fundable proposal. PK suggested a nice outline for this collective work. The outline consists of the following components:
- Workshop outcomes and a specific process that will get us there;
- An assessment plan
- A dissemination plan
