Hello everyone, Here is an agenda for the up-coming V2C telecon. The meeting will be on Thursday, March 25 at 1300 UTC (0600 PDT; 0900 EDT; 1400 Europe; 2200, Japan; 0000, Hobart). As usual, we will use Teamspeak. Talk to you soon and best regards, -Bill. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Agenda ------ 1. Revised action items from the Hobart joint workshop (see attachment) ==> In addition to or instead of the lines for "improve analysis and fringing automation" might be a line for automation all the way from sked to observations to correlation to fringing to analysis, i.e. the whole pathway. 2. Initial operations plan for VLBI2010 ==> Both Dan and Johannes are interested. I need to kick this off and contact John for schedules. 3. Source structure ==> Asked Arnaud to consider using lower SNR's in his simulations and reminded him about reporting about phases as well. 4. Simulations status - elevation cut-off - tests with real networks for initial operations 5. Proof-of-concept progress - status of feed/LNA/dewar front-end package - pcal enclosure - progress with "fringing" multiple bands - next observations - new antenna and pad ==> next observations will include new pcal units (which appear to be working very well) and will observe 4C39.25 so that polarization rotation can evident for development of polarization handling. The new low frequency filter is not tested well enough to include yet in the next observations. 6. DBE/DBBC progress - DBBC VLBI2010 - RDBE - ROACH2 ==> should include Mk5 in this agenda item too 7. Software correlator progress: Bonn, Haystack, Australia - DiFX-to-Fourfit interface - PCAL detection ==> software correlator is now working at Haystack with test data, including interface to Fourfit. 8. Reports on antenna projects/proposals 9. Other? ==> Some discussion about the DORIS/SLR RFI. We need to finish this. ==> Monitor/control should be included for next telecon with Alexander. ==> Combined automated data flow should also be included from now on.
