Around 9:15--9:30pm, just after everyone has squared up for a tip. During class, it should be just before the middle club tip (roughly 9pm).

Announcement sheet from the gate table. If you cannot find the announcement sheet, please ask one of the officers to start one.

Notes
• You are encouraged to be enthusiastic but efficient. The longer the announcements take, the less time there is for dancing. Always end by thanking the cuer and caller.
• Doing announcements does not mean you can’t dance that tip. Square up with a partner then leave your partner in the square and read announcements.
• Before making announcements, it’s a good idea to ask the president (or another officer, in a pinch) to check the list over to make sure nothing is missing.
