Scheduling gives program managers, project managers and project participants a single system to coordinate people and their project tasks.

Schedules typically follow this general pathThe following activities usually apply to a schedule:

  1. The e-Builder admin, when creating the project in e-Builder, applies an MIT-specific template to the project schedule to promote consistency at the highest schedule/task "level" and to ease of use.
  2. Schedule/Project managers update tasks within the new schedule by adjusting dates and/or adding new subtasks .
  3. The status of the schedule is changed from Draft to Active.
  4. A baseline is saved.
  5. A snapshot of the baseline is saved.
  6. Resources update their progress for individual tasks.
  7. Schedule/Project Managers approve changes as required and continually update the schedule as needed.
