HartRAO

Current status: The assembly of the main reflector is underway with the quadrupod and sub-reflector to be mounted in the next few weekstogether with quadrupod assembly has been completed. Initial photogrammetry is underway.

The big lift is expected to happen around the week of the 12th of June.  would initially have happened on the 12th of June, but is now confirmed for the 19th and 20th of June (Monday for the azimuth cabin; Tuesday for the main reflector and counterweights).

Currently there is a camera installed on site, network access has been established to the site but not yet to the camera. For updated videos and photos please visit (I have unfortunately not had time to update these photos and videos recently though we are working towards getting a live stream feed operational within the next month - before the big lift):

Ishioka

  1. Operation of Ishioka antenna is now under interruption because of construction of operation building, and will resume after April.
