Before beginning, ensure you are properly connected to the MIT network.

  1. Click here to download the driver.
  2. Navigate to crestaff.mit.edu in your preferred browser.
  3. On the menu on the left hand side, scroll to Information Technology and click the arrow to access the dropdown menu. Then, click on Software.

  4. Click on the Dropbox link on the Software page. If you cannot reach Dropbox this way, try using a different browser.
  5. Select the Printer Drivers folder in Dropbox and download the drivers for Windows.

  6. Navigate to the downloaded .zip in your files and extract it using 7-Zip (right-click > 7-Zip > Extract Here).

  7. Open extracted folder (most-likely called Driver) and run Setup64 application.
  8. Agree to the software end user license agreement, then select Install printers/MFPs.
  9. Do not allow the installer to search for printers/MFPs. After clicking cancel, select Specify manually.

  10. In Network, select IPv4, IPv6 address/IP Host name.
  11. In this field, type 'msred-copier.mit.edu', then click Next.

  12. From the dropdown drop-down menu, select Konica Minolta C368Series, then click Next.
  13. Click Install.
  14. After the installation has completed, try printing a test page. If the test page prints normally, the device is functioning normally; no further action is required.
  15. If the test page does not print, open your computer's control panel.

  16. Navigate to your hardware devices and find the printer ()

  17. Right click on the device and choose printer properties (note that this is not the same as properties).
  18. Select the Ports tab.

  20. Ensure that SNMP Status is disabled.
