The purpose of this calendar is to provide, in one place, where all staff are located on a given day (e.g. remote, in-office, or on vacation).

Who should input their availability?

  1. In your personal calendar, create a new meeting
  2. In the subject line, note whether you are remote/not working/on vacation using the reference table "Quick Reference" table in this article below.
    1. For example, put R-Casey if your name is Casey and you are remote for the day.
  3. Set the hours you are remote or tick the All Day box.
    1. If you modify the All Day checkbox, the value in the Show As drop-down field may change.
  4. Set any recurring options
  5. Set the "Show As" option in Outlook to the appropriate setting based on the reference table below.
  6. Add cre-work-schedules-res@mit.edu as a required resource
  7. Send the invitation
    1. You will get an email confirmation; you can ignore any conflicts
