In short, this is a much better interface. There is more storage(refer below), has better security, and allows a more realistic preview of what you're doing when you edit pages instead of simply wiki code.

At the bottom of each page is "Add Labels" and "Add Comments" these are basically useless, but comes with the MIT Wiki service. The home page contains a listing of the most recently updated items and who edited them. At the top left, there is a navigation hierarchy, allowing you to navigate to higher levels more easily. In the upper right next to the search bar and your name is a "Browse" dropdown menu. Pages is a collection of all the pages in your wiki (I find the Tree option is the easiest to look at), Attachments is a listing of all attachments in the Wiki, Activity is just how often the page is visited, and Space Admin will let you change who can see or change pages. Just below your search bar is Edit, Add, or Tools (though this may change depending on if you are on different pages). Edit is pretty straightforward, Add allows you to put more pages into the Wiki, or put in attachments or diagrams. Tools lets you export to a PDF, or a Doc, or import from a Document, or see the page history if there's anything that went wrong. Also, Tools contains an option to Remove a page entirely from our Wiki Space; this is only for if you have found a page in error, but please be extremely careful with removing pages, though there is a trash bin from where they can be restored, the trash may regularly be cleaned. There is also a Children group at the bottom between "Add Label" and "Add Comment". This is basically a hierarchy from the current page downwards, i.e. if I am on page Colleges, there could be links to the "Children" MIT, Harvard, Yale, Stanford, etc.

Font can be easily formatted into bold, italics, underline, or strikethrough using the rich text formatting. Attaching images and creating hyperlinks to other pages is easily done with the tools immediately above the workspace in the Edit Mode .

To add users, go to https://webmoira.mit.edu/ and edit the list of users on the Moira group 36-228. This will automatically update the list of authorized users who have access to this Wiki Space.
