The Dashboard is the landing page for the Gradebook and displays which assignments require grading, approving of grades, and which assignments have been completely graded and approved.

Select 'Students' to display the 'Student/Grade List' where Instructors/Graders can get an overall view of the course grades. The 'Student/Grade List' is maintained in a table format and the column headings will vary according to how the Gradebook is configured. Instructors/Graders can modify scores and Letter Grades for an assignment/exam by selecting a Student's name.

Click 'Assignments' to jump to the 'Assignments/Exam' form. The 'Assignments/Exam' form displays all added course assignments/exams. The form information will vary according to the Configuration options enabled by the Instructor.

Click 'Letter Grades' to jump to the 'Letter Grading Table' form where Instructors/Graders can assign a Letter Grade to each Student.

Click 'Add Assignment' to jump to the 'Import/Add' form where you can import homework from the course Homework tool, or add new assignments/exams, to the Gradebook.

The Configure form is where the Gradebook properties are setup. Options include using grade weighting to track and calculate student scores, and whether to display Weighted Scores, Actual Grades, Original/ Makeup Grades and Cumulative Scores to students.
