2. QR codes -- decide a couple places to implement this - and just see what happens.

  • Orientation Week activities - Academic Expo, Grad Student Reception, marketing surrounding these things...
  • Explore Gowalla and Foursquare for possible beta tour for orientation. Morphed into building a "Trek" on SCVNGR for Orientation.  Was not heavily used.  Locations created in Gowalla and Foursquare.  Still working to build a "trip" in Gowalla - communicating with Gowalla people to see how others can see your "trips" without being your Gowalla friends. 
  • CLIR Faculty Workshop - Sept 23/24
  • Augmented Reality (for Emerging Tech group) -- keep thinking about this - though doesn't seem worth spending the time yet
