all kinda well known in the ' art film ' world so there was pressure to always make really good work. this made me over think everything and as a result i didn't experiment as much as i should have. that's not true for everyone though but i think a lot of people felt like that.internal competition that clouds people's judgement. - A lot of pressure to do good work by a set of known standards, and there is less room to experiment.

- Really enjoyed contextual feedback (i.e. i mostly liked getting feedback in the form of "oh this is a lot like <some other film maker>")

- Would have liked a forum in which people could post videos of related work that helped me discover a lot of new people and work. i got encouraged to experiment a lot which is always good advise.
