Questions (ensemble-alum-ask)
I have a proposition for you. Myself and some other alums were recently contacted by current members for advice re tech aspects of the show, which we were only too happy to provide. I thought it would be nice for ensemble members to still be able to ask for advice from alums like that, even when many of us are crufty memories from the distant past. So: I talked to some other ex-Ensemblites about being on an "ask an alum-ask" mailing list, full of alums who don't mind occasionally being spammed questions by current members about how to do costumes or how to put up monument or "so I heard the Ensemble did this thing this one time, does anyone know any details?" sort of stuff. We have ensemble-alum@mit.edu, but its not the sort of thing one should spam in that way. Lots of the alums I talked to are v enthusiastic about it and happy to answer questions. If you're interested, you just need to set up an mit mailing list, I can tell you who's already shown interest and you could send it out to ensemble-alum for more peeps.
