- Have monthly group meetings were specific where members can meet other Java developers, learn about specific techniques and technologies, ask and answer questions, etc. A strong emphasis is placed on identifying a specific topic for each meeting, and finding someone within the group who can effectively present or lead a discussion on that topic. Topics could include, but would not be limited to: developing with the Spring Framework; using database persistence tools; using Java Server Faces (JSF); building Swing applications; using AJAX; etc.
- Establish a mailing list for group members that can be used for discussion of Java and related technologies as well as the planning of monthly meetings. We have such a list... now we just need the people. Please join the listnow!.
