System / Software Requirements
The prototype has been found is known to work on recent versions of Webkit browsers (Google Chrome, Safari) . on Mac OSX and iPhone (?).
For "Teleport Me" function to work, the Google Earth Browser Plugin must be installed. (If the plugin is not found, you will be prompted).
Starting the Prototype
Start the prototype by following this URL: Teleport
The design should display well for a wide range of screen resolutions.
Limitations
- All data (tweet streams, contacts, notification history) is canned
- Cannot teleport to places other than M.I.T.
- Video chat is non-functional.
- Text chat is non-functional.
