IPS is converting the web-development infrastructure of the Data Reporting Services team to as many MAP standards as possible. This is our first full conversion and official developer-support venue. Later, we will convert the documentation for this project into generic "mappify" documentation for the MAP handbook.
Summary of Tasks
- Convert Dave Cohen's Java projects from Netbeans to MyEclipse
- Refactor Java projects to conform to a Maven-friendly structure.
- Write Maven build scripts.
- Incorporate build scripts into Bamboo.
- Attempt to have Bamboo scripts deploy to roles development server and ISDA web services development server.
- SASHify -- determine if the tools that are analogous to MIT SASH stack are the actual supported versions.
- Connect project to Maven repository.
- Expose projects through FishEye
- Evaluate SVN practices and possible migrate projects to better/new repositories.
- Check web services development for best practices for configuration and monitoring.
