Week of October 8: I researched UN policies on the regulation of international deep waters. In particular, I focused my research on the FAO Fishing and Aquaculture department- they have some recommended codes of conduct and a few suggestions on how overfishing might be reduced. Their plans are a little bit vague, but perhaps we might be able to incorporate some of the better main ideas in our team's "solution."
