MIT Video Productions (MVP) will professionally record, edit, and publish your course series in MIT classrooms or elsewhere. MVP uses a real cameraman to do the filming and has Another option for distance learning is to employ MIT Video Production Services. This is a more expensive option, but they come in, setup manned cameras and do a full-scale video production setup.
Estimates
You can reach them directly via mitvideo@mit.edu. You can also fill out the MIT AV's Event Form, but at some point this should be handled internally by CRE AV (cre-av@mit.edu) will need to contact mitvideo@mit.edu for a quote, however, estimates we received for one class were:
Single manned-camera set up and live distribution to Zoom:
- 1-6 times event rate = $502 each
- 7+ series rate = $350 each
Ordering
Fill out the online order form for the first date/time of the first class, selecting the Live Events and Courses option. Put the remaining scheduling details in the notes.
MVP needs an hour for setup, and if that time is not available it helps for them to know.
