Connecting Your Mac

To connect your Mac to the system, you have two options: using a wired connection with an HDMI cable and USB-C adapter, or wirelessly via AirPlay. Please follow these steps to ensure a successful connection:

Connecting Your Mac via HDMI (Wired)

  1. Wired Connection:
    • Connect your Mac to the system using an HDMI cable coupled with a USB-C adapter. Ensure that all cables and adapters are securely connected.
  2. Selecting the Input Source:
    • On the Touch Screen Display, select the appropriate input source. This could be either 'HDMI 1' or 'HDMI 2' depending on the cable you used.
  3. Configuring Audio Output:
    • Go to System Preferences > Sound > Output on your Mac, and select the audio output for the room, typically labeled something similar to 'Crestron'. Note that the exact name might vary but it should be distinct from the default or non-connected state.
    • If you are connecting a Zoom meeting, select the appropriate sound output in the Zoom Meeting by selecting the ^ character next to Audio and selecting the under the Select a Speaker options.
    • If you are sharing video or sound over the Zoom meeting, ensure that the "Share

    • Adjust the volume levels on both the room's Touch Screen Display and your Mac to ensure the sound is playing correctly. Start with a moderate volume and adjust according to preference.

    • Select the AirPlay icon in your Mac's menu bar and choose the system you wish to connect to.
