Panel
Open the Control Panel (shown below) and click on Windows Firewall: Image Added
In the left-hand panel, click on Advanced settings as shown below. Image Added
In the left-hand panel, select Inbound rules. Image Added
In the right-hand panel, click on New Rule... Image Added
Select Port as shown below, then click the Next button. Image Added
As shown below, Select TCP and Specific local ports. In the Specific local ports field, enter the ports you want to block. In this example, ports 8080, 8888, 8443 and 4443 are to be blocked. These 4 ports are the normal OC4J and Tomcat http:// and https:// ports. Click the Next button when you are satisfied that everything is correct. Image Added
Select Block the connection as shown below, then click the Next button. Image Added
Keep the defaults as shown below and click the Next button. Image Added
Enter a name for this new inbound rule. Click the Next button when you are satisfied that everything is correct. Image Added
The new rule is now operational and inbound connections on the ports you specified will now be blocked. Image Added
