Basic guidelines for running reports:

From the Applications tab on the far left select "Quick Links"

Then select AR System Report Console, which will bring you to the following screen:

Then select the following in the corresponding drop downs:

  • Show: All Reports
    Category: Change (this is the only module currently implemented)

Then select what group of reports you are interested in.  In the current implementation, the following groups and reports work best:

  • Change Requests, then Change Manager and Scheduled Start Date (Incident and Problem are not active)
  • Custom, then any of the corresponding reports (see use cases: Remedy Reporting Use Cases.doc)
  • All changes are currently by service without corresponding relationships and/or impacts, so Configuration Item and Risk reports do not produce data

For example, select Custom, then Changes Completed by Service Offering

Please note that AR reports export raw data and web reports

Double click on the report to run as is OR

If you wish to change the report, click on the pencil to edit

You then have several options:

  • change title
  • change description
  • change content view (chart, list)
  • change the groupings or fields
  • add filters (limit the changes to a particular date range, etc)

Please note that if you save the report after editing, then you have permanently altered the report.  You can click "Save As" in the upper right hand corner and keep this version of the report in addition to the original.  If you want to keep this report version private, simply check the box on the left hand side under Content.

Once you have edited the report and saved, , for example: custom, changes completed by service offering Image Removed
Double click on the report and then hit the run button

You can export the web report into excel by clicking the icon in upper left hand corner

You then choose your format and download to your desktop

You can also drill down on a specific ticket by clicking on the link

A new tab will open with the corresponding change ticket
