titleAny reason NOT to buy a large (3 or 4.5m) dish from RF Ham Design?

Q: We are going to upgrade our Old SRT to the New SRT this fall and are ordering/planning this summer. I'm thinking of buying the 3 or 4.5m mesh dish from RF Ham Designs, since the wind load is still acceptable for our roof top mount. Is there any reason why this is a bad idea? Thanks. titleQ:Is there an official method of changing the default pointing of the SRT for the southern hemisphere? Another words so the telescope does not have to swing back around when scanning though north. This appears to be covered in the SRT software manuel with the azlim keywords, but this method results in an out of limits response when you command it to move.

titleQ: In the receiver output section the 2nd LPF is shown as a BLP-7-75+ on the schematic Rev 7, in the parts list, and in the Hardware Manual photo. That is a 75 ohm filter, but the ZFL-500LN+ amps are 50 ohm. Is there a reason a 75 ohm filter was selected? This also necessitates using BNC adapters, since the filter uses 75 ohm BNC connectors, not 50 ohm SMAs. Thanks for the clarification.
This filter was selected because the only with 7 MHz one available from minicircuits. The mismatch 75 to 50 ohms has little effect. However I suggest using the TV dongle receiver which is much simpler and lower cost.
