  • Use on foams that have been approved for hot cutting in areas with adequate ventilation

    • OK to cut: polystyrene, polyethylene, EVA

    • Not OK to cut: polyurethane, polyisocyanurate

  • Adequate ventilation is satisfied if using

    • Outdoors: in a wide open space (not in a shed)

    • Indoors: with an adequate active exhaust system (fume hood, fans, and windows that provide cross flow ventilation);
      Note: DO NOT USE in indoor spaces that may contain flammable materials or flammable residue, such as paint booths or auto garages, even if ventilation is present
