11/1/2010 - Core Team Meeting

  • System Preparation
    • SFK update complete
    • SF3 update
      • Mods complete (several will be applied through enhancement in SF2)
      • Should be able to move forward and execute Payroll Simulation & DW test extracts
      • Plan on executing go-live validation steps in SF3 11/2-11/3
      • Preliminary times: kernel - 1hr, SPS - 12hr, Oracle Upgade - 8hr)
      • lost a day in the process due to a back up failure
    • SF2 update started
      • action log on Wednesday
      • R3 will change ZUTTREQ target system to SH3 (no change to ZUTTREQ should be required)
      • Unit testing is scheduled to begin Thursday
    • SH3 refresh starting this week
      • portal from SF5 will be used for SH3

    • SF3 has been refreshed; refreshed action log execution on schedule
    • SF3 payroll simulation run on schedule
    • SF7 practice system still being built (missing a patch level)
      • this system will be used to develop gui logon changes
    • Support Pack side effects report has been generated and posted to the Project Scope page of this wiki
    • SFK Support Pack Application process has begun
    • Support Application process will begin in SF3 starting next Monday
  • Test Planning
    • Unit Test
      • for the most part 2009/2010 comparisons are complete
      • new transaction review is in process
      • Rich is working on additional query requests (though off-site this week)
    • SIT
      • needs to be wrapped up by 10/25

    • SF3 is now off line and being refreshed in preparation of Support Pack Application
    • SF8 is now the system for the application of OSS notes for production support

    • QC license restriction becoming a concern again (turns out we do not have unlimited view access)

10/04/2010 - Core Team Meeting

    • Review Dates
    • SF3 will not be initally scrambled to accomodate a simulation run of the monthly payroll
    • Production validation steps will be executed in SF3
    • SIT (more detailed date view):

The SIT window is 11/11/2010 – 12/10/2010 but there are restrictions around this.

11/11/2010 is a holiday but HRP will begin the payroll comparison runs on this day.

The first 5 business days, 11/11/2010 through 11/17/2010, are reserved for the execution of payroll comparison runs (weekly, monthly & pension).

11/18/2010 is reserved for a controlled Financial Close.

11/19/2010 through 12/5/2010 is open for the general SIT testing (your full pool of testers – business & is&t); please note that there are two holidays embedded in this period (Thanksgiving 11/25-26).

12/6/2010 will be reserved for a controlled Financial Close.

12/7/2010 through 12/8/2010 is reserved for retesting outstanding issues.

12/9/2010 is reserved to execute the validation test in SH3 that will be performed in PS1 on go-live weekend.

12/10/2010 - go live weekend!** Business users meetings status - all areas have or have had meetings scheduled
