Prototype Limitations

This prototype does not have back-end functionality. Therefore actions that would normally result in SQL queries are disabled, and an example response has been hard-coded.

pecify the platform and software requirements for your prototype.

Additionally, while a user may select an office for any of the three example representatives, all will redirect to the form for Senator Scott Brown. For testing purposes, no phone calls will actually be scheduled or placed.

Our Prospective Users

According to our user model, we expect the users of this site to be someone interested in contacting their political representative to discuss their position on an issue of their choice.

Heuristic Evaluations

  • Ryan Lopopolo - lopopolo@mit.edu
  • Give brief, step-by-step instructions for starting up your prototype. For web sites, a hyperlink to the site is sufficient. For JAR files or executables, say how to install and start the program.
  • Describe which parts of the prototype are shallow (incompletely implemented or canned), so that your evaluators know what should work and what shouldn't.
  • If your prototype must be downloaded, like a JAR or SWF file, put it in a place where it can be downloaded over the Web, and include a link to it in your wiki. All Athena users have a Public directory which is accessible by the URL http://web.mit.edu/_username_/Public/Image Removed.
  • Your prototype must remain frozen (no changes) and accessible at this location for two weeks after the due date.
  • Your prototype should be downloadable as a single file. Package multiple files into a ZIP archive for easy downloading.
