entering

new

text,

but

be

aware

that

the

custom

text

will

not

appear

in

the

page

title,

which

will

display

either

'Calendar'

or

'Schedule'.

 

  However,

the

custom

text

will

appear

in

the

breadcrumb

navigation,

the

left

vertical

navigation,

and

the

browser

title

bar.

A vCalendar file is useful if you want to import the schedule into a PDA or organizer application such as Microsoft Outlook. A comma-separated value file can also be imported into several applications, including Microsoft Excel. _Note: Stellar exports only class or section events, not academic events_ h5. Keep in Mind:

Adding and Editing Introductory Text on the Schedule


You can add an introduction to the class or section calendar on the Schedule page. The introduction appears near the top of the page.

Adding Events


Use this procedure to place a class or section event on the Schedule or Calendar page.

Subscribe to the Schedule/Calendar to iCal

    2. Click Subscribe button to import the calender information into iCal
    3. Configure the Name, Description, and other setting, and click Ok.

Note: The subscription feed is updated every two hours on the server. The scheduled update time on the client depends on the update cycle time preferences set by the user on the client side.
