PRODUCTION RELEASE NOTES

Greetings Thalia users!
We are happy to announce that on the evening of Wednesday, December 12th, a new release of Thalia shipped to your production domains, with a number of significant new features:

Upon logging in, you'll quickly notice that we have revised Thalia's user interface. Your feedback has been valuable in producing an interface we hope you'll find more intuitive, more informative, and simpler to use.

Thalia searches will now accept "" (asterisk) as a wildcard character. So, for example, a search for "ca" will return all your images titled "cat", "car", or "cannon".

To supplement the file metadata, we've added a freeform tagging system - you can now define, enter and manage whatever text tags you'd like for items, and search on one or more matching tags, to help you find your content more easily.

We have also worked to optimize the application startup, to get you working with your content more quickly.

These are in addition to many bug fixes, small improvements, and infrastructure upgrades that we hope will make your use of Thalia more enjoyable and productive.
