MIT Summer Youth Employment Program 

MIT Human Resources is coordinating coordinates an important MIT outreach effort with Cambridge high schools and youth programs, Just-A-Start, the Office of Workforce Development, and the Cambridge Housing Authority. Students . Through MIT’s Summer Youth Employment Program, students gain an understanding of what it is like to work in a professional environment, explore career interests and build a unique relationship with MIT.

How it Works

The Summer Youth Employment Program runs annually for six weeks from early July to mid-August. This year the program will run from Monday July 8th through Friday August 16th, 2019. The students work between 20-40 hours per week and earn $12 per hour. The hourly wage is paid for by the department.June 29th – Friday August 7th 2020
