Subject: Help the MIT Libraries improve website navigation and get a $25 Amazon gift card or Tech Cash

Good afternoon,

I hope your semester is off to a good start. Last year, you participated in the MIT Libraries survey (thanks!).  At the end of the survey, you noted we could contact you in the future for feedback on new products or services. We are happily taking you up on your offer!

We are looking for volunteers to do an online card-sorting test. The data gathered from the test will help us organize and create a new navigation bar for our web site. The test is straightforward - and many people find it interesting and even fun.

The details:

What: You will complete an online exercise in which you will drag names of web pages into categories and then create names for those categories.

Time needed: We estimate it will take about 30-45 minutes.

When: You will get the link by email on Sept. 21 and you'll need to complete the exercise by Sept. 28.

Reward for your time: We are offering $25 in the form of either Tech Cash or an Amazon gift card (your choice).

If you would like to volunteer, fill out this brief form by Sept. 20. --  Yes, I would like to volunteer

Thanks and let me know if you have any questions.
