  • Email the class list with the weekly email, including schedule & location, link to lesson page, and (often) a brainteaser (see Class Quizzes/Brainteasers). If there are complications, like a club meeting, warn them about that. Also mention any upcoming events like class level dances they should be aware of. It can be helpful to link to copies of handouts you used last week (recovery skills, etc) so people who prefer electronic copies can look at them; you could also send this in an email after each week. 
  • Print a copy of attendance. (see After week 1: Attendance and other forms of Data)
  • Pick a topic for class meeting. (see Class Meeting Content)

  • Take attendance during the class
  • Make sure class get into every tip and balance squares as needed. 
  • While dancing or watching, keep an eye out for dancers who are struggling.

  • During the first class tip, keep an eye out for class members showing up a couple minutes late and get them in 
  • Rebalance squares as needed
