As part of an ongoing effort to improve the overall performance and usability of the MIT Wiki service, every year, Wiki spaces that have not been viewed for more than one year will be removed from the production server and copied to an archive server, where they will be maintained for an additional year.
h5. During this time, Wiki space owners will be able to view and modify their spaces on the archive server. Archived Wiki sites can be restored to production upon user request within a one-year period, after which they will be permanently removed. Sites archived as part of the 2013 archival effort will be available for restoration upon user request until July 2014. Sites archived in 2012 will be removed permanently.
