Preservation and conservation procedures are still being finalized and are subject to change. 

Overview

Much of the routine work done during arrangement of materials is considered preservation. Archivists house materials in folders and boxes, and handle materials in a certain way, so that they may last a long time.

This section provides information on general in-house preservationdigital preservation, and custom preservation and conservation.
