  • Dustin Wang finished his first draft of his slides yay !!!!!! I already told you what I thought but here's some feedback/questions to address later on (everyone else feel free to add more stuff to say if you notice anything)
    • Structural Integrity: More specifics on how exactly we'll be able to tell whether test was passed or failed. Like, we can crack the tank open and look at chipped baffles or cracks all we want but we should probably have more objective guidelines pertaining to what constitutes a pass/fail, and how we can more precisely/accurately measure structural damage.
    • Slosh Damping Efficiency: Muy bueno! I like this slide, just make sure you know what the equation is for.
    • Thermally Induced Stratification: 10/10 ! I got 0 things to say abt this one. Good job !
    • Accelerated Life (ALT): I agree with the whole idea that we can just run all the tests, iterating on prototypes until we can get a prototype that can pass all the tests, and then testing ALT by making that prototype go through the test gauntlet a couple more times to see if it can survive that long. We can then make a duplicate of the iterated prototype that was able to survive the test gauntlet a couple times and we can send that one to space (or that's the one we send to do EMC, TVAC, and possibly radiation if we do it).
  • Everyone else (including me) just keep working on your assigned slides and try to finish them by 5pm on Tuesday so I can talk to Pranav about them.
  • Also be sure to add any questions that come up in your research to the following doc so I can pester Mr. Bala and Oligo about them:
