Help DLCs define their computing/business needs
- Through iterative consultation define and document the DLCs goals and objectives
- Recommend appropriate solutions
Assist DLCs in the design and implementation of computing solutions that:
- Meet the defined needs of the DLC
- Meet the defined goals and objectives of the project
- Promote IS&T standards and best practices
- Utilize IS&T resources
- Develop Web and FileMaker systems that meet the project’s goals and objectives
- Recommend appropriate external vendors when internal resources are not available
- Follow usability and accessibility guidelines that ensure an effective, efficient, and satisfactory user experience
Maintain and support the computing/application solutions implemented
- Working with DLCs
- Working with other IS&T groups
- Implement support Service Level Agreements
- MDS Long Term
- MDS Short Term
- MDS On Call
- DCAD Web and FileMaker Maintenance
- DCAD Web and FileMaker Managed Hosting
- Update systems with patches and new versions
- Provide tier 3 support
