Formal Technical Committee Votes

GOLC Meeting, Villach, 24-25/6/2010

PROPOSAL: That the wording of the proposal on the technical committee process be modified to remove reference to proposal release being requested by "others". REJECTED

PROPOSAL: Formal proposals of the technical c'tee are to be released by one of the c'tee co-chairs, on the request of WG chairs or others at the discretion of the c'tee co-chairs, to all members of the technical c'tee, with at least 1 month for comment. This should specify that it is a formal proposal being debated prior to a potential vote on acceptance. Comments must be to the whole technical group, and should use a mechanism that ensures archival of the whole discussion thread. PASSED WITHOUT DISSENT

PROPOSAL: That, in line with the approved technical committee process, the joint LiLa/Lab2Go Metadata proposal be issued as a formal GOLC Technical Committee proposal for discussion and potential subsequent vote. PASSED WITHOUT DISSENT
