Problem Statement

In urban society, many people travel and commute alone, despite the companionship and increased efficiency that ride-sharing offers. People are willing to do so, but it is difficult to connect with people who share similar itineraries. Many urban, young travelers seek rides for trips, but have to resort to cumbersome public transport. Commuters have a hard time finding carpools. We hope to address this problem with TagAlong, an interactive website that helps people find and advertise ride-sharing.

TagAlong will overcome obstacles that prevent potential ride-sharers from getting moving. It will include a simple way for users to search for and advertise rides.  The service will offer a system where users can feel secure with the anonymity of other travelers.  Our product will become an essential tool in connecting ride-shares.
