Briefing
We are developing an application called PackIt. This is a mobile application to help you pack for your trips. By entering your trip information, you can see a list of suggested items that you should pack. From there, you can also add more/remove items to pack, and then mark them off as you pack. In addition to a list of items to bring, this app offers packing and travel tips to help make your trip a memorable experience.

The reset button was misleading for users, since they believed that pressing it would erase all the packing they had done earlier. The task of the button itself was intuitive, and users knew that they could press it to go edit their trip information. |

Users had a hard time finding the +/- button indicating adding and removing items from the list of items to bring. Would generally look around aimlessly until they found it. When they pulled up the edit popup, didn't realize what to do. Some users would try and press add before actually typing in an item name |

Users didn't realize they had scarves in their to-bring list. They were also confused on the distinction between packing an item and removing it from the shelf, since both actions removed items from the shelf but the latter removes it entirely without the possibility of it returning |
