Openings: 2 full-time RA positions
Term: September 1 2012 - August 31,2012
Applications will be Reviewed: Immediately. Continuing until position is filled.
Description: The sponsor is a government organization that is sponsoring this research to create future enterprise architecture. Prospective tasks are listed but not limited to:
1)       Develop and validate an agent based / discrete event simulation model for life cycle of military personnel
2)       Analyze complex data and present it to stakeholders in a relevant, understandable and actionable manner
3)       May develop location-allocation models to identify staffing needs to create better health delivery system by using mixed integer programming
Qualifications:
1)       Strong quantitative skills required.
2)       Previous hands on experience in discrete event and agent based simulation modeling required.
3)       Previous experience on dealing large data sets is preferred.
4)       Previous experience in supply chain, network optimization and mixed Integer programming preferred.
5)       SQL and SAS skills a plus.
