- Open the Control Panel (shown below) and click on Windows Firewall:
- In the left-hand panel, click on Advanced settings as shown below.
- In the left-hand panel, select Inbound rules.
- In the right-hand panel, click on New Rule...
- Select Port as shown below, then click the Next button.
- As shown below, Select TCP and Specific local ports. In the Specific local ports field, enter the ports you want to block. In this example, ports 8080, 8888, 8443 and 4443 are to be blocked. These 4 ports are the normal OC4J and Tomcat http:// and https:// ports.
- Select Block the connection as shown below, then click the Next button.
