Room Breakdown
Tech Squares Weekly Job

Description
Responsible for seeing that all the club equipment is returned to the locker at the end of the night and that the room is left in good condition. If we are in Lobdell dining hall, the tables and chairs must also be reset.

When
Any time after the last tip ends, usually about 10:30pm.

What you need
    • Location of Small Activities Office (4th floor in the corner near the pottery studio), and of our locker within the SAO
    • An MIT ID prox card with access to the SAO (found in briefcase)
    • Locker key (found in briefcase)

Responsibilities
    • Dance hall should be cleaned of cups and trash
    • Table and chairs should be reset (if in Lobdell) -- this is usually done by other dancers while you're cleaning up the refreshments table.
    • Water cooler should be emptied.
    • All club equipment must be taken up to the club locker and stored. Before storing the water cooler, it should be thoroughly dried out with paper towels (usually found in the locker). Please leave the water cooler lid hanging beside the cooler, not on top of it.
    • Lost clothing, etc., should be put in locker.
    • Locker key should be returned to briefcase. Before closing the locker, return the key to the briefcase. The key is not needed to close the lock and can be locked inside the locker.
    • Locker should be securely locked.

Notes
Please ask for help. Most people will help reset the tables and chairs in Lobdell. A brief shout for locker help will usually yield a volunteer or two. All the equipment can be taken up to the locker in one trip if you don’t attempt to do it alone.

Thanks for helping with this very important job!
