Exercises
* an introduction to the context of international development, through statistics and development indicators.
* an experiential exercise to expose students to what it's like to live on $2/day, and to reflect on the differences between their experiences and those of people who actually live on $2/day.

* an interactive exercise that explores different models for distributing wheelchairs to gain insight into stakeholders and participatory development.
* a group project in which students learn about different types of village energy systems and determine the most appropriate system for a particular village setting.
