Video in Support of Teaching & Learning

 BackgroundVideo capture and asynchronous delivery, whether of lectures, recitations, powerpoint slides, and/or other supplemental materials, is becoming more common in higher education.  At MIT a few dozen faculty have been involved in teaching classes where some kind of video (or audio) capture has been provided.  However, to date there has been no formal assessment of its impact or attempt at developing a strategy for developing a sustainable, easily accessible service for faculty.

Objectives* To understand how video capture can be used as a tool to improve the educational experience of MIT students.
