Creates consensus around an overarching mission and set of goals to guide the team for the year
Creates slides and leads all hands meetings
Meets with subteam leads and gains insight on their work and progress, handling all administrative support for subteams

Responsibilities

The outreach chair manages the Team's efforts to engage the community to inspire and encourage young people to study science and engineering through rocketry. The outreach chair keeps in contact with:

MIT Educational Studies Program (ESP)
Boy and Girl Scouts of America

Social Chair

The social chair creates social events to build team camaraderie and recruit new members. Past events include:

Launch Party (for SpaceX, Blue Origin, etc...)
Pancake Hour
Team outings to movies
etc.

Maintain contact with local launch clubs, know altitude limitations for different sites and when their launches occur
