Zoom Settings

Spotlight should be tried in addition to the following settings to try/test.

Advanced settings on the bottom of the Zoom page:

• "Enable waiting room"
• creating new co-hosts
• "Allow others to enter before host"

On the General tab in Zoom Preferences, clicking on the More options (or something like that), select the following:

• Waiting Room: ON

• Only authenticated users can join meetings: OFF

• Only authenticated users can join meetings from Web client: OFF

• Participants video: OFF

• Mute participants upon entry: OFF

• Chat: ON

• Chat (Prevent participants from saving chat): CHECK

• Private chat (Allow meeting participants to send a private 1:1 message to another participant): OFF

• Display end-of-meeting experience feedback survey: OFF

• Screen sharing: CHECK "HOST ONLY"

• Remote control: OFF

• Nonverbal feedback: ?

• Meeting reactions: ?

• Allow participants to rename themselves: OFF

• Hide participant profile pictures in a meeting: ON
