Increase CPT and OPT support to match the U.S. federal standards.
Improve guidance and support on maintaining visa status when changing advisors or programs.
Provide funds to cover visa-related fees and costs that graduate workers pay to be employed (e.g. SEVIS).
Increase funding and support for the International Student Office (e.g. providing a hotline for students stuck at the border).
Equal work expectations for international and domestic graduate workers (e.g., MIT cannot require international students to work on campus while allowing domestic students to work remotely.)
