- when we send out the announcement next year, be clear that players can only be on one roster for each division (no exceptions, even for injury)
LOGISTICS
- 20 teams, 3-4 players each
- Majority of teams have at least one MIT player
- 10-15 MIT students responsible for running the tournament

RESERVING COURTS (October/November)
- E-mail Sandy Lett (slett@mit.edu) about reserving court time
- Expected Cost = ~$300-350
- In 2007, reserved Rockwell North and South from 8:00AM - 7:00PM (11 hours, 13.75/hour)
- Do not reserve main court - it doubles the cost
ON-LINE REGISTRATION (~2 months ahead of time)
PRIZES (~2 months ahead of time)
- Ask local business/restaurants to donate
- Aim to get 3 of each prize
- Display sign/banner at tournament thanking sponsors
- Often businesses need a week or two to get back to you, so start early!
- Usually give 1st and 2nd place in each division, 1st should at least get back cost of entering the tournament
ADVERTISEMENT (~2 months ahead of time)
- Advertisement in the Tech
- E-mail to various volleyball lists and departments (varsity, men's clubs, Euro-club, Sloan)
CHECKING EQUIPMENT (week before)
- Check cranks, poles, nets, etc.
