Welcome to the 2006 Horizon Project Wiki. This space was originally created as a place for the members of the Horizon Project Advisory Board to manage the process of selecting the foci for the 2006 Horizon Report, co-published by the New Media Consortium (NMC) and the EDUCAUSE Learning Initiative (ELI).
All of the discussions, content, and comments that were part of the selection process are included here, and now we have opened the wiki up to the NMC membership and friends of the NMC to continue the discussions with a broader audience. The menus below will lead you to a variety of resources, news items, discussion areas, links, and more.
Your Thoughts and Comments are Welcome!
Please consider this our collective work area, and feel free to add comments, content, categories, new pages, and lots more resources. You can edit the content of this or any page using the Edit link on the right.
The items in these areas are meant to grow – please add to them liberally from your own readings and environmental scanning – and above all, leave comments!
PROCESS: Within each of the discussion areas below, please add your perspectives and observations. We are particularly interested in comments about the topics in the current report, and your perspectives on which topics in the previous Horizon Reports may still be relevant, or which may have moved to a closer planning horizon. In addition, we'd like to gain insight into any that may have missed the mark.
STATUS: Advisory Board members have reviewed the articles in this section, and selected the ones they thought were most important to our work. Please feel free to add new ones to the end of the any of these lists!
The items in the categories below have been rank ordered.
