Nervous when he came in (didn’t know what he was in for)
Task 1 - ask question to tour guide

• didnt know that they were drop down menus first
• 5 options -- wording maybe not conduscive, but eventually picked “tour” option
• wanted to input a question
• ”tour” = ambiguous wording, broad selection....but one that fitted the task the best

Task 2 - find percentage of black students in college tech

looked at it, couldn’t find it under general stats, so clicked back (didn’t see the three different selections of the graphs, affordance wasn’t great enough)* knew to swipe once he saw the circlesTask 3 - greek related event

discovered home button at the top (has been pressing back thus far)...* wished there was a search option for events to find the event he was looking forTask 4 - find story about management school

pressed home to get to home screen instead of back....thought back wouldn’t take him to the previous screen but previous action so decided to press home* didnt want to have to read through stories to find what he was looking for but scanning text was good enough...worked fine because story length wasn’t lengthy...but if there were more stories or if they were longer (would like a form, drop down, search bar????, topic menus)

• clicked on the story....nothing happened (when he wanted to schedule a meetup)
• then clicked on the user profile picture
• liked the HUGE schedule meet up button (intuition told him each tile was a button)
• liked the drop down for times
• didn’t like the wording “what”...would write explanation of why they want to schedule meetup....
• felt comfortable about giving phone numberTask 5- provide feedback to Claire

felt comfortable with navigation from home screen* clicked on 4 stars (guessed....kind of knew.....but was unsure EXACTLY what the stars meant)

didn’t know if story and picture were one item or 2 items* graph wasn’t too clear, but then got it once he saw the affordance and liked how clean it looked
