Designs for StageIt

This design walks the user through the process of creating or choosing a stage and adding dancers and props. The goal for this design was to be geared towards the elderly by reducing complexity. I tried to do this by having each screen be focused on a single task, and limiting the number of things on the screen at a given time. In addition, the interface makes use of tooltips and cues as well to enhance the learnability. |
This design is inspired by Photoshop, where users have a lot of control of what they want to do with the stage, dancers and the like. Users are able to add guides to the stage, create a custom stage shape, and add text and other things to the screen. They are also able to add comments to each formation. Formations are viewed as tabs along the top of the screen. |
This design allows users to view existing projects and also view all of the formations made for a given project as they edit. It is similar to design 1, but gives users more options, and the stage is slightly tilted for a slightly different viewing experience. |
