Had the most time to work on this. The others can be made to look like this. | II Comments: Like it for the overall team logo - maybe scale down the G and make some small color adjustments? We definitely need an iGEM/MIT "team logo." I like something that speaks to this year's project ("neurons"). -BT
I personally really like this idea. It doesn't have "MIT" on it, but that can be added if needed. It's meant to be like an actual logo or a theme | Other illustrations based on this theme, for example:
| II Comments: Love the idea of different versions of this for each page on the wiki! Me too. The "little people maniuplating big molecules" theme is adorable without being saccharine. I'm trying to think about how this might best map to a "team logo". -BT The second one works well for BCR, having this kind of style might be nice |
This, sadly, is a very common idea. | No offense, but this has been done a zillion times. -BT
MIT in proteins! (Yes, the codons are correct.) I have the idea to write MIT in terms of its amino acid structure. It'll be rather abstract, but would look really cool. | Better than above. I rather like the one on the left. I'm not sure it conveys "synthetic biology" as much as "molecular biology". -BT
Lololololo | Heh. This could be fun on a parts page. -BT
Plasmid diagram? (I don't actually know how this works.) | .....or this one. -BT
... Kinda | II Comments: Maybe change the M somehow? (looks a little out of place) I find this one quite compelling. Something clever for the "M" would be fun, though not necessary. -BT

Other ideas? Please! | Possibly sketch? |

I'm a minimalist, so I see the possibility for a "hand-drawn" aesthetic as a unifying theme, on the website and poster and presentation.
